Muskogee County Cemeteries Volume I and II
The cemeteries in these publications were recorded from the years 1983 to 1988. In many cases, the lack of maintenance, the age of the stones, and no stones at all, made it impossible to register many of the gravesites.
In explanation of the format of Volume I, the cemeteries are listed by number in the table of contents. The description of the location follows each cemetery listing. On the following pages a county map is shown with the number of the cemetery in the section where it is located. Each cemetery has a legal description.
In explanation of the format of Volume II, the cemeteries are listed in the table of contents only. There is no county map indicating the location. However, each individual cemetery has a legal description.
There may be only one date for an individual. This is the way it was found on the stone. The abbreviation (OSSW) indicates "On Same Stone With".
